Annual General Meetings 2024

Annual General Meetings 2024

All of our Members are encouraged to participate in our election process and attend our Annual General Meetings.

Since 1976, with the support of our Members, The Wilderness Society has stood at the forefront of Australia’s most historic environmental victories—from the Franklin River to K’gari (Fraser Island), to Lutruwita/Tasmania’s forests, to the Kimberley, to the Great Australian Bight, and numerous World Heritage Areas, such as Ningaloo.

We’re focussed on bigger-picture outcomes, such as bringing Australia’s deforestation crisis front and centre. Corporations may want Australians to be in the dark about deforestation, but our people-powered satellite monitoring platform, Watch on Nature, corporations’ hidden forest destruction is being brought to light.
