To the Wilderness Society Members’ Forum 2026

Our Board of Directors are hosting the 2026 Members’ Forum on Wednesday, 23 September. All Members are invited to join the conversation as we t reflect on the past 50 years of the Wilderness Society, celebrate what we have achieved together and look forward to what is needed to protect a wild future. You will also have the opportunity to meet the Society’s new CEO, Kirsty Howey and hear her vision for the organisation
How does the Wilderness Society Members’ Forum work?
Wilderness Society Members interested in attending this year's Forum are requested to complete the registration form below before 22 September. If there are any additional topics you would particularly like to discuss with our Board of Directors, please also let us know when you register.
Registered Members will be able to join the facilitated conversation online from any location, on any device which supports Zoom. This year, the format will be that of an online Town Hall meeting providing an opportunity for Members to meet one another along with Governors of the Wilderness Society.
Participants are encouraged to bring a keen sense of curiosity and wisdom of experience to reflect on the exciting work of the Wilderness Society to protect our remaining wild places. We invite you to come along, share your own reflections and hear about our vision for the future.
The Board will consider any recommendations flowing from the Forum.
