Did you know that as a Member, you have a say in the direction and governance of The Wilderness Society (South Australia) Inc? This includes participating in our Annual General Meeting! It’s also a chance for you to hear from our Campaign Director about our successes, as well as the challenges we’ve faced over the last 12 months.
Date: Friday, 24 November 2023 from 5:30pm ACDT
Venue: To be held in the conference room of The Joinery, 111 Franklin St, Tarntanya / Adelaide, with an option to connect via Zoom (details will be available upon RSVP).

Nominations Process for Board Election
As per clause 6.7.4 of the Constitution, Nominations for Board membership are to be received by the TWSSA Secretary on or before COB Friday, 3 November 2023 (being at least 21 days before the AGM) by submission of a completed Nomination Form and 250-word statement articulating reasons for nominating and related skills.
Notifications of nominations received will be emailed to Members on or before 10 November (at least 14 days before the AGM). If more nominations are received than vacancies on the Board, a ballot will be held. In that instance, the ballot will close seven days prior to the AGM where Board members will be confirmed.
We are always interested to hear from individuals who might consider a position on our volunteer Board. You are welcome to email the Convenor of the Board via [email protected] to discuss how you might assist the organisation’s work in this way.We are pleased to be in a position to hold the AGM in person this year but understand that some members may wish to attend online via Zoom. If that is the case for you, please contact The Secretary at [email protected] by the Monday prior to the AGM (20 November) and a Zoom invitation will be emailed to you before the meeting.
