Did you know that as a Member, you have a say in the direction and governance of The Wilderness Society (Tasmania) Inc? This includes participating in our Annual General Meeting! It is also a chance for you to hear from our Campaigners and Organisers about our successes, as well as the challenges we’ve faced over the last 12 months.

Date: Wednesday, 11 November 2026 from 5:30pm AEDT

Venue: To be held at 130 Davey Street Nipaluna / Hobart, face-to-face and connected via video link to enable group attendance from Launceston Campaign Centre, 174 Charles Street.

Nominations for the Committee of Management

Nominations for the Committee of Management of The Wilderness Society (Tasmania) Inc are now open!

We invite Members to nominate to join our volunteer Committee of Management. It is an excellent way to bring your skills and experience to our mission and help protect wild places. All nomination forms are required to be submitted to David Wanless, Public Officer, by Sunday 1 November 2026.
